How to reach our Hotel

The Westend Hotel is easily reachable.
We are located in the centre of Merano on the famous Passer Promenade.

Cars and Buses

If you are headed to Meran coming from Bozen or the Reschen Pass on the expressway MEBO (Meran-Bozen), take the exit "Meran Zentrum”, go past the underpass until the next roundabout;  here take the first exit, go along a gentle pitch arriving to another roundabout. Once again, take the first exit , pass the train station and go straight on until the next roundabout (near Piazza Mazzini). Keep the right lane in the roundabout and take the second exit into via Speckbacher/Speckbacherstraße. Keep driving straight on until you reach Hotel Westend.

We will welcome you and take care of your belongings.

The Westend Hotel is located in the blue city zone.

Train

The Westend Hotel is located 500 meters from the railway station.

Merano can be reached comfortably from different cities from Italy with a change in Bolzano with the Trenitalia Frecce.
Frecciargento offers daily connections from Monday to Sunday from Milan, Rome, Naples, Florence, Bologna, Verona, Trento and Rovereto.
South Tyrol is directly connected to Verona, where there are numerous connections with Frecciarossa trains to and from Milan, Turin, Venice, Trieste and Udine.
With the Intercity Notte you reach South Tyrol with two night connections at the weekend. Every Friday and Saturday the Intercity departs from Rome to Bolzano and returns on Saturday and Sunday.

From Germany and Austria, the Deutsche Bahn offers EC routes lead to Bolzano and from there you continue to Merano by regional train.

Airplane

South Tyrol has its own airport located in Bolzano (approx. 30 km away).
Bolzano Dolomiti Airport currently has direct flights to London-Stansted, Copenhagen-Kastrup, Billund, Antwerp-Deurne, Berlin-Brandenburg, Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel and Düsseldorf. Info at https://www.skyalps.com/en/
